Artificial intelligence

We are living in the time where artificial intelligence is growing to the point where most are having it think for them, and the question is; where does it go from here?. At this point, there is no reason to rely on human creativity to resolve issues, be creative, write anything from our own insightfulness, or even fight a war based on strategy from human perspective, with the speed and accuracy that artificial intelligence can generate an answer to any scenario, from endless resources that it can collect data from in an instant. Artificial intelligence can also imitate anything, including us, looking and sounding just like us, and able to duplicate our motions and mannerisms so well, that it’s almost impossible to tell that a video is fake. As this technology grows, where will it take mankind? What is it we are trying to accomplish by having machines do everything for us? The isolation that computers have already caused most to embrace will only increase from here, with humans feeling more comfortable interacting with machines rather than other people (except when calling a business or doctor’s office). When I think of the implications of this scripture, speaking to the condition of mankind in the days leading up to the return of Christ (2 Timothy 3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power.), I can’t help but to believe, in accordance with what the world is looking like, that His return is imminent, with everything spoken there being exactly what the world is right now. Where does AI fit in with all of this? Perfectly!, because it gives us everything we need to not be everything God has called us to be. Do I think AI is helpful? Great question. Yes, and no! AI provides power to mankind that mankind is not equipped to handle, nor is supposed to. We have one purpose in this life (Isaiah 43:7 "Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him."), and it is to glorify the God who made us, not glorify and listen to what we have made. For every true believer hard questions need to be asked of ourselves, like; am I truly following Christ, and am I truly trusting God? Am I in love with this world, or do I forsake all that is in this world in obedience to God? The end days will produce an environment that will make it nearly impossible to stay on God’s narrow path, and it’s here! Father, I pray for all believers to be wise in their conduct in these last days, and that we will hold each other accountable to stand firm in Your Truth, in these perilous times. In Christ’s name, Amen
