A strict diet

As I age in this world and watch the way things evolve, I find myself asking myself this, a lot lately; what is going on in this world, and, why is so much of everything in life so ridiculous now?. The simplest things are engineered to fail now, just for a few people to get rich. Government says one thing, does another, and then blames each other when the stupid plans they enacted blow up in our faces. And then, once some of the dust settles, they spin the whole thing to make it look like it’s good for all of us. Nothing is ever greater than the people who are running things, and surely so many of the wrong people somehow become the ones in charge, with the real leaders being discarded for the simple fact that what we need to hear and do is never received well by the masses, because the truth hurts, and causes rejection of the ones speaking it. Romans 11:16 explains that; if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. ¿This is pretty simple philosophy, but obviously very easy for mankind to miss. How do we stand for Christ the way Christ calls us to stand for Him, in a world that is consumed by illogical practices that drive the herd away from Christ, whisking believers into the mud that destroys us all? Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump., means that once we open ourselves up to allow ungodliness in, that ungodliness will grow into a pit of sinking sand! King Solomon considered this matter as the king himself, full of wisdom from God, and said this; “Ecclesiastes 10:1 Dead flies putrefy the perfumer’s ointment, And cause it to give off a foul odor; So does a little folly to one respected for wisdom and honor.”, along with many other logical enlightening statements defining man’s folly. Take the time to read chapters 10-12. We either marinate our minds in God’s truth and do things His way, or, we follow the dictates of our own twisted hearts and land in the ditch with the rest of the world. A strict diet on God’s word is the only way for us to be a part of His solution, and not just another spoke in the wheel of ungodliness! Father, chasten me to know and do Your will.
